KYSO 3rd Annual Texas Hold Em Fundraising Tournament The "buy-in” fee for the tournament will be $100 at the door, but $75 tickets will be available for purchase either from a fundraising committee member or online at www.kysopoker.eventbrite.com anytime before January 21. Doors open at 5:45PM and a $25 feeder game will start at 6PM. The main event will start at 7PM. So if you enjoy playing cards, eating Chinese food, and spending time with friends before Super Bowl weekend, please come on down to the KofC and join in the fun. It’s for a great cause, and you just might walk away a big winner!

7th Annual KYSO ‘Fore the Kids’ Charity Golf and Dinner Benefit The Kingston Youth Sports Organization (KYSO) is excited to announce changes to this year’s major fund raising event. On Friday night June 3rd, (7 pm to midnight) KYSO will be hosting a social event including music, dancing, a live auction, food and drinks to be held at Indian Pond Country Club in Kingston. The 7th annual ‘Fore the Kids’ golf benefit will be held on Sunday June 5th with a 1:45 pm shot gun start and will again be sponsored be Royal Garden and Rockland Athletics Supply. |

SUPER BOWL: Silver Lake Youth Football & Cheerleading Congratulations to the Silver Lake Youth Football & Cheerleading Midget and Pee Wee teams who are playing/cheering in the Super Bowl this coming Sunday at our own home field, Jonathan Rizzo, located within the Opachinski Sports Complex off of Pottle Street!!!!!!
The games are as follows:
12:30PM – SLYFC Midgets versus Hanover (7th & 8th graders)
2:00PM – SLYFC Pee Wee’s versus Duxbury (5th & 6th graders)
Come on down and cheer on the teams. These should be exciting games!!

All Fields Closed Daily at Dusk per BOH Kingston has been raised to a High risk category for EEE; therefore, the Department of Public Health is recommending the cancellation of outdoor activities from dusk to dawn. There was an emergency meeting of the Board of Health last night and it voted to close the ball fields from dusk to dawn starting tonight. |

23rd Annual Strawberry Shortcake Road Race Help support Plympton’s Athletics programs, Recreation department, and Boy Scouts by participating on the towns 23rd Annual Strawberry Shortcake Road Race on Saturday May 22nd, 2010 in Plympton. There is a 10K Race, 10K Walk, and a 2 Mike Fun Run for all ages.
